Website Security & Authorized Penetration Testing

Website security assessment, hardening, vulnerability review, remediation and authorized penetration testing.

Security services for websites and web applications: assessment, hardening, vulnerability review, incident recovery and authorized penetration testing within an agreed scope.

Authorization is mandatory. Penetration testing is performed only on systems the client owns or has explicit permission to test, with scope and testing boundaries defined before work begins.
🔎

Security Assessment

Review versions, exposed services, authentication, configuration, headers, forms, dependencies and common website weaknesses.

🛡️

Hardening & Remediation

Patch vulnerable components, reduce attack surface, improve access controls, configuration and protective layers.

🧪

Authorized Penetration Testing

Manual and tool-assisted testing for agreed targets, followed by prioritized findings and remediation guidance.

Website and application security work

  • WordPress and CMS security review
  • Web application vulnerability assessment
  • Authentication and authorization review
  • API exposure and access-control checks
  • Dependency and plugin risk review
  • Security headers and TLS configuration
  • Malware and compromise investigation
  • Backup and recovery readiness
  • Firewall/WAF and rate-limit configuration
  • Bot and brute-force mitigation
  • Server-side hardening coordination
  • Post-fix verification

Assessment is different from remediation

A scan identifies potential weaknesses. A deeper security review validates context and risk. Penetration testing attempts to demonstrate exploitability within the approved scope. Remediation then changes code or configuration. We keep these stages distinguishable so clients know what was tested, what was fixed and what remains.

Need a security review of a website you control?

Provide the target, ownership/authorization context and the purpose of the assessment. We can then define a safe testing scope.
